The Oxford University Computing Challenge

The Oxford University Computing Challenge is an invitation event which aims to encourage students who have achieved a top 10% score in the UK Bebras Challenge to develop their skills further and produce programmed solutions to computational thinking problems.

The annual challenge is held online, in schools and supervised by teachers. The participants' solutions are auto-marked by our system soon after.

A pilot challenge took place in March 2017 with developments added each year.

Timeline
  1. Bebras runs in the first half of November for a fortnight, sat at schools.
  2. OUCC Round 1 runs in the third week in January.
  3. OUCC Round 2 (for the top 20 from each OUCC R1 age group) is on a fixed date in early March.
